Production Lead Welding and Fabricating |
 |
Description: Hands-on position responsible for day-to-day production of all welding and fabrication operations including QA inspections, training, manpower, personnel, equipment and records during the construction and delivery phase of each project.
Background: Expert knowledge of metal fabrication processes especially aluminum. Background in welding aluminum plate and extrusions as well as fabrication. Must have proven excellent crew supervision and communication skills. Must be able to plan / structure projects from start to completion while maintaining budget and company standards.
Drawings & Layout: Must be able to read, interpret, draw materials and build projects from drawings
Power Tools: Daily use of air grinder with a cutting blade, die grinder, electric grinder and other power tools.

Welders |

Background: Aluminum welding experience required. Background in welding aluminum plate and extrusions with a minimal amount of rework and out-of-position welding a necessity.
Drawings & Layout: Must be able to read construction drawings.
Power Tools: Daily use of air grinder with a cutting blade, die grinder, electric grinder and other power tools.

Fabricators |

Background: Marine construction required. Background in working with aluminum plate and extrusions including marking, scribing, cutting, bending and installing to close tolerances is required.
Drawings & Layout: Must be able to read construction drawings. Must be able to read, interpret, draw materials and build projects from drawings. Figuring, layout, cutting and fitting complex parts and shapes using drawings, existing structures and template materials is required.
Power and Non-Powered Tools: Daily use of routers, air grinders, electric grinders, saws, drills, and hand tools is required.

Mechanics |

Daily Requirements: Day-to-day installation of mechanical systems including: print review, parts review, parts collection, layout boat with lead.
Typical example of systems: engine installation, steering, fuel systems, etc.
Power and Non-Powered Tools: Use of own tools required.
